I had finally stopped, gotten out of the car and walked in front of this wonderful little church building in the Eastside of Tucson. I had driven by here before, several times, but I had not stopped because I didn't have my best camera with me, not even my second or third best camera. This time though, I finally decided it did not matter that I just had an iPhone with me, not even the best iPhone, just an iPhone 5c (the white one if you are wondering). It has an 8 megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens. Impressed? I didn't think you would be, there are plenty of better specced phone cameras out there, and I didn't have any of those with me either. But what I had I used. That is all the credit I can take for the making of this photograph, I had something that could capture an image and I used it. The original image is 2448x3264 pixels (that's 7,990,272 pixels, basically 8 megapixels) but after I straightened it a bit (or a lot you might say) and did some other edits on my iPad using Snapseed I ended up with the photo you see here, which is only 1536x2048. I liked the end result enough to share it with you. So next time you visualize something you like don't stand there and complain about the equipment in your hand, just use it and give thanks for the opportunity to capture something with anything at all. Enjoy the moment there and then, and afterwards as well. I hope you also get the little surprise duck somewhere in your picture as well. Have a great photo day and God Bless You.
